General description
L-2-氨基己二酸/α-氨基己二酸酯是一种葡聚糖毒素，其是谷氨酰胺的结构类似物。它由赖氨酸蔗糖（SAC）/哌酸（PIP）途径的分解代谢产生。
Application
L-2-氨基己二酸已被用作大鼠星形胶质细胞特异的一种胶质毒素。它也已作为发酵食品样品氨基酸分析中的内标。
Biochem/physiol Actions
L-2-氨基己二酸可抑制谷氨酰胺合成酶和 γ-谷氨酰半胱氨酸合成酶。它可调节葡萄糖代谢，并在糖尿病患者中水平更高。L-2-氨基己二酸在抑制C2C12肌管中的自噬中起关键作用。
