Gene Information
human ... RASSF7(8045)
General description
RASSF7 is a RAS association domain-containing protein that is needed for spindle formation during mitosis in neural tubes. RASSF7 also enhaces cell survival by blocking the MKK7/JNK signaling pathway.
Rabbit Anti-RASSF7 antibody recognizes rat, mouse, human, canine, and bovine RASSF7.
Rabbit Anti-RASSF7 antibody recognizes rat, mouse, human, canine, and bovine RASSF7.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human RASSF7
Application
Rabbit Anti-RASSF7 antibody can be used for western blot (5 μg/ml) and IHC (4-8 μg/ml) applications.
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Other Notes
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: RVQRNAEELGHEAFWEQELRREQAREREGQARLQALSAATAEHAARLQAL

Members of the Ras-association domain family (RASSF) of proteins influence apoptosis and cell cycling but little is known about the mechanisms. Here, we show that RASSF7 interacts with N-Ras and mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 7 (MKK7) to negatively regulate c-Jun

Mitosis is a fundamental feature of all cellular organisms. It must be tightly regulated to allow normal tissue growth and to prevent cancer formation. Here, we identify a new protein that is required for mitosis. We show that the Ras
