General description
The Axygen HybridRack System combines sustainability and functionality to create a new, ecofriendly pipet tip product that is backed by Corning′s quality and value.
Application
Pipet tips are used across a wide variety of applications including molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture, clinical diagnostics, chemical analysis, and protein biochemistry. Specific workflows include: PCR (polymerase chain reaction), DNA sequencing, DNA purification, RNA isolation, cloning, gene expression analysis, inoculating cultures, performing microbial assays, preparing bacterial fungal cultures, seeding cells, transferring media and reagents, performing cell based assays, handling cell cultures in plates or flasks, sample preparation, liquid transfers in diagnostic assays, various medical testing procedures that require precise volumes, dispensing reagents, preparing solutions, and protein purification/quantification.
Features and Benefits
- The HybridRack System removes approximately 70% of the plastic compared to traditional plastic pipet tip racks.
- The plastic deck combined with the paperboard base provides a stable pipetting platform. The HybridRack is designed for end users to pipet directly from it, even when using a multi-channel instrument.
- The paperboard base can be easily recycled through most local curbside recycling programs.
- All HybridRack part numbers are provided sterile. Filtered, Maxymum Recovery, and non-filtered configurations are available.
- The HybridRack System is manufactured in the USA at an ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and EnergyStar registered facility.
- The pipet tips included in the HybridRack offering are the same tips as the Axygen MultiRack product line.
