General description
N-N-双(2-羟乙基)-2-氨基乙磺酸(BES)是一种两性离子缓冲液,常用于生物化学和分子生物学研究中。BES缓冲液可用作二级pH标准物质,能使溶液保持在稳定的pH范围内,特别是在6.2-7.6范围内。一项研究表明,在细菌内毒素检查中使用这种缓冲液可以最大限度地减少干扰因素的影响。BES还可用作磷酸钙介导质粒DNA转染真核细胞的缓冲溶液。
