Clathrin-coated vesicles accounts for receptor mediated endocytosis at the plasma membrane and also play a crucial role in hormone secretion and mechanism of action. Monoclonal Anti-Clathrin Heavy Chain antibody can be used to study the mechanism of clathrin mediated membrane trafficking during hormonal stimulation and protein phosphorylation. Mouse monoclonal anti-clathrin heavy chain antibodies are react specifically with clathrin heavy chain CHC17 but do not cross react with muscle isoform CHC22.
