应用

- 作为检测溶液组分,检测人骨肉瘤和人肝癌细胞线粒体中呼吸链复合体III和IV的活性

- 作为细胞色素C氧化酶反应液组分,用于小鼠肾组织中细胞色素C氧化酶的原位染色
生化/生理作用
在细胞内,细胞色素c可在亚铁态和三价铁态之间迅速转化,这使其成为有效的生物电子转运体。它在动植物的细胞氧化过程中发挥重要作用。它通常被视作呼吸作用的通用催化剂,可在呼吸底物与氧气之间形成必要的电子桥。
细胞色素C(Cyt C)在caspase依赖性内源性凋亡途径参与激活caspase,通过凋亡启动细胞程序性死亡。具有脂结合活性,与心磷脂的相互作用与超氧化酶活性有关。细胞色素C在细胞色素C血红素裂解酶的帮助下结合血红素 ,释放到线粒体膜间隙中。
细胞色素c可在亚铁态和三价铁态之间迅速转化,这使其成为有效的生物电子载体。它在动植物的细胞氧化过程中发挥重要作用。通常视作是呼吸链中的通用连接,它在可呼吸底物与氧气之间形成必要的电子桥。
