Human Retinoblastoma
Human retinoblastoma cell line derived from a male patient. Bilateral retinoblastoma, tumour treated by irradiation. Tumourigenicity not tested.
Preparation Note
Iscove′s Modified DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 15% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + 10ug/ml Insulin + 55uM 2-Mercaptoethanol
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:3 i.e. seeding at 2-3 x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. Saturation density: 2 x 1000,000 cells/ml.
