Biochem/physiol Actions

A human ovarian epithelial-serous carcinoma cell line established from an intraperitoneal metastasis of the bladder dome. This cell line was derived from the same patient as the ovarian cell line COV413A (ECACC cat no. 07071905). Anchorage-independent growth in agar has been reported.

Preparation Note

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Split confluent cultures 1:4 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
