A bromodeoxyuridine-resistant mutant of N1E-115 (Sigma Catalogue number 08062511). The cell line N1E-115 is an adrenergic cell line derived from mouse neuroblastoma C1300 (Mouse strain A/Jax)

DMEM + 2 mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + 1 mM 8-bromodeoxyuridine. The cells can be grown in the absence of bromodeoxyuridine

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C.
