Biochem/physiol Actions
CAT-MT is a feline mammary carcinoma cell line derived from a highly malignant tubular adenocarcinoma. CAT-MT cells are tumourigenic in athymic mice.
Preparation Note
EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%). Seed new cultures at 2-4 x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
