Mouse NS1 x Mouse BALB/c spleen
The antibody recognises a rat Ia epitope present on B, but not T cells from lymph node or thoracic duct lymph. It does not bind to thymocytes or erythrocytes. In the thymus the OX-17 antibody labels the Ia antigens of cortical epithelial cells and medullary cells.
Preparation Note
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
