The antibody recognises the glycoprotein 2BII and labels both the whole cell surface and also the flagella. Binding is lost after acid hydrolysis or de-glycosylation of 2BII.
Preparation Note
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
