Human x mouse hybrid
This cell line may contain a sub-chromosomal fragment of human chromosome 17 bearing markers thought at the time to flank the cytotic fibrosis gene. The human DNA was donated from the human osteosarcoma cell line MNNG-HOS.

Preparation Note

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 37°C; 5% CO2.
