OX-34

Mouse NS0/U x Mouse BALB/c spleen

The antibody binds to all peripheral T cells and most thymocytes. It does not label peritoneal macrophages or B cells, but does label some spleen cells. The thymocyte molecule detected by the OX-34 antibody has a molecular weight of 50-54kDa.

T blasts prepared in mixed lymphocyte reactions with purified rat T helper cells against irradiated spleen

RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)

Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO₂; 37°C
