Biochem/physiol Actions
Mouse NS0/1 x Mouse BALB/c spleen
The antibody recognises a 45kDa glycoprotein expressed on all haemopoietic and endothelial cells. The antigen is identical to mouse BCM1 antigen. The antibody inhibits allogeneic mixed lymphocyte reactions using lymph node cells as responders and spleen cells as stimulators.
Preparation Note
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
