Biochem/physiol Actions
Clone of the line BE10-Intermediate (Sigma Catalogue number. 93040119). The cells have elevated levels of tissue plasminogen activity but do not grow in agar or in BDIX rats. The cells should not be used beyond passage 24 as they start to form tumours.

Preparation Note
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 15% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:10 to 1:20 i.e. seeding at 1-2x100,000 cells/25cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 10-15% CO2; 37°C.
