Human basaloid squamous cell carcinoma
The human basaloid squamous cell line PE/CA-PJ34 (clone 12) has been established from the oral cavity of a 60 year old male patient in December 1996. The cells, that are also known as Plaepi 34, express cytokeratin.
Preparation Note
IDMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:2 to 1:8 i.e. seeding a 1-4 x 10,000 cells/cm using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
