  • as a synthetic glucocorticoid to study its effects on the expression of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and peroxiredoxin 6 (Prdx6) proteins in placentas of human and mice
  • as a component of the complete medium for the culturing of porcine hepatocytes

Dexamethasone 21-acetate or dexamethasone acetate is a derivative of dexamethasone. It is a hydrophobic drug. Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid possessing anti-inflammatory activity.
