应用
Applications include use as a target for amplification by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), restriction endonuclease digestion and as a carrier DNA for precipitations. May also be used in library construction in bacteriophage lambda vectors and in Southern hybridization.

It may also be used in library construction in bacteriophage lambda vectors and in Southern hybridization. It was used as a standard for DNA quantification by spectrophotometry and as a positive control in TaqMan PCR reactions.
