一般描述

恩贝酸是一种天然的苯醌衍生物，最早从白花酸滕果植物中提取。它在结构上类似于泛醌。

应用

使用恩贝酸：
  • 研究其对活化T细胞(NFATc1)荧光素酶活性的核因子kB配体(RANKL)诱导的核因子的受体激活剂的影响
  • 研究其在介导帕金森病(PD)机制中的作用′
  • 治疗全鼠胚胎，以确定其对X连锁抑制细胞凋亡蛋白(XIAP)活性的影响

生化/生理作用

恩贝酸具有抗氧化、线粒体解耦联和抗生育特性。它还具有抗糖尿病、抗惊厥、抗焦虑和抗微生物活性等作用。恩贝酸是一种有效的神经保护剂，也可作为脑卒中的辅助治疗。
恩贝酸（Embelin）是XIAP（X连锁凋亡抑制蛋白）的抑制剂；体内抗肿瘤和抗炎活性。
