General description
400 mL wide-neck bottle which are plastic vessels for preparing, transporting, storing and centrifuging solid and liquid samples and reagents. When centrifuging at high rotational speeds or high temperatures, push the supplied sleeve over the wide-neck bottle. The 400 mL wide-neck bottle does not fit under the cap of the rectangular bucket for therotor A-4-81. It is autoclavable (121C, 20 mins).
Application
For use in preparing, transporting, storing and centrifuging solid and liquid samples and reagents.
Features and Benefits
- Can be autoclaved at 121 degrees centigrade for 20 mins with cap in place but not scewed tight
- Working volume for centrifugation is between 320 mL and 400 mL
- Bottles can be centrifuged to a maximum g-force of 3220xg in a swing-bucket rotor
