应用

Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro(GPRP)已被用于形成由GPRP和来自血纤维蛋白原γ链的30kDa C末端片段(rFbgγC30)组成的晶体,其中,rFbgγC30是在 酵母中克隆和表达的。

生化/生理作用

Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro肽能够抑制纤维蛋白聚合的早期阶段。即使是存在EGTA(乙二醇-双(β-氨基乙基醚)-N,N,N′,N′-四乙酸)的情况下,该肽的酰胺衍生物也能抑制纤溶酶对纤维蛋白原和片段D的降解。
Gly-Pro-Arg-Pro(GPRP)能够增加游离凝血酶。因此,它可用于制备凝血酶脱粒的(thrombin-degranulated)血小板,其有助于研究血小板反应。
