GSK3B（糖原合成酶激酶 3β）是 GSK3 酶的两种亚型之一，两者由不同的基因编码。这种蛋白质主要是细胞质，但也被发现集中在细胞核和线粒体。是一种蛋白质-丝氨酸激酶。该蛋白的核心含有一个蛋白激酶结构域，由 482 个氨基酸组成，分子量为 46712 Da。其组织表达范围广，在脑内表达量最高。

生化/生理作用

GSK3β是一种丝氨酸苏氨酸蛋白激酶，最初被确定为磷酸化和抑制糖原合成酶的激酶。GSK3β广泛存在于人体组织中，参与调节多个生理过程，包括通过胰岛素控制糖原和蛋白质合成以及调节转录因子 AP-1 和 CREB。人 GSK3β瞬时转染到稳定转染单个人 tau 蛋白亚型的中国仓鼠卵巢细胞中，在磷酸化依赖性抗 tau 蛋白抗体研究的所有位点均导致 tau 蛋白过度磷酸化。
糖原合成酶激酶 3β（GSK3β）通过在 Thr-286 上将其磷酸化而负责快速的细胞周期蛋白 D1 周转。在胚胎发育和成体组织细胞增殖过程中作为 Wnt 信号的负调节因子发挥作用。这种蛋白质磷酸化和调节多种蛋白质，如糖原合成酶、胰岛素受体底物-1、轴蛋白和 APC（腺瘤性结肠息肉病）。这种蛋白也被证明与多种与阿尔茨海默病 (AD) 相关的蛋白相互作用。

50 mM 磷酸氢二钠 pH 7.0、300 mm NaCl、150 mm 咪唑、0.1 mM PMSF、0.2 mm DTT、25% 甘油中提供。
