General description
谷氨酸是非必需氨基酸。是主要的兴奋性神经递质。在重大创伤、重大手术、败血症和骨髓移植中,谷氨酸起必需氨基酸的作用。
Application
从链霉菌( Streptomyces )属提取的 L-谷氨酸氧化酶用于确定固定化谷氨酸氧化酶(GOx)的酶活性。也作为随机光学重建显微镜(STORM)成像缓冲液成分。
Biochem/physiol Actions
L-谷氨酸氧化酶催化 L-谷氨酸转化为 2-酮戊二酸。
谷氨酸合成或降解中的主要酶;将氨基转移至α-酮戊二酸形成 L-谷氨酸或脱酰胺基 L-谷氨酸。
Other Notes
在 30°C、pH 7.4 条件下 1 个单位 α-酮戊二酸的生成速率为 1.0 μmol/min。
