General description
Genomic DNA sheared by sonication for use in hybridization experiments.
DNA isolated from Calf thymus is sonicated to fragment the DNA to an average size of approximately 400 bp.
- Tested for absence of nuclease.
- Fragmented DNA with a size range from 200-6000 nucleotides.
- Purified by phenol extraction and freeze dried.
- Suitable for blocking non-specific binding sites in hybridization experiments to reduce background.
