Application
Anti-CXCL10 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for indirect ELISA and western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
C-X-C motif chemokine 10 (CXCL10) is a protein encoded by the CXCL10 gene in humans. It is a potent chemoattractant for antiviral T-cells and NK-cells and is poorly associated with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV). CXCL10 axis inhibits antiviral innate and adaptive host immunity, thereby favouring establishment of viral persistence. CXCL10 gene promoter may be partially responsible for the severity of cerebral malaria CM outcomes in males. Study shows the correlation of CXCL10 with the immunopathogenesis of vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder.

The risk factors for cerebral malaria (CM) and the wide variation in clinical manifestations of malaria are poorly understood. Recent studies indicate that interferon gamma inducible chemokine, CXCL10, is a strong predictor of both human and experimental cerebral malaria. Increased

The pathogenesis of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is strongly influenced by the nature of the host's antiviral immunity. Counterintuitively, elevated serum concentrations of C-X-C chemokine 10 (CXCL10), a potent chemoattractant for antiviral T-cells and NK-cells, are associated with poor
