Anti-GHRL (ab2) antibody produced in chicken is suitable for indirect ELISA and western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.

Ghrelin (GHRL), an orexigenic peptide, is primarily produced and secreted by the gastrointestinal tract. Its expression is correlated with tumor depth and tumor differentiation. It also plays an important role in tumor growth in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Ghrelin secretion is changed during the onset and after the start of insulin therapy in children with type 1 diabetes. It may act as a good predictor of changes in glucose and metabolic control.

Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.
