马血清与胎牛血清(FBS和FCS)相似。其多胺氧化酶浓度较低。
马血清来自正常的马群供体。
应用
正常马血清在免疫分析中可作为封闭剂和对照品。在免疫组化和免疫细胞化学的各种研究中,以10%马血清为封闭剂。
在免疫染色实验中,马血清可用于阻止非特异性抗体结合。

马血清用于替代牛血清,为细胞培养研究提供所需生长因子和激素。马血清可刺激成纤维细胞分化及细胞外基质(ECM)和细胞因子合成。
