General description
Recombinant human Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) is supplied as a lyophilized protein suitable for mammalian cell culture research. HGF is a multifunctional growth factor that signals through the c‑Met receptor and is widely used in in vitro cell studies.
Application
HGF has been used in mammalian cell culture research applications, including epithelial, endothelial, and hepatocyte‑related in vitro model systems.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) exhibits mitogenic, motogenic, and morphogenic activity in vitro across multiple cell types through activation of c‑Met receptor‑mediated signaling pathways.
