白介素3（IL-3）是一种多功能蛋白，起初被称为克隆形成单位刺激活性（CFU-SA），由活化的T淋巴细胞产生。IL-3在多能造血祖细胞的早期发育中可支持多谱系克隆的形成。IL-3已显示出可从琼脂悬浮的骨髓细胞诱导巨噬细胞、嗜中性粒细胞、肥大细胞和巨核细胞的克隆形成。IL-3也可与IL-2发生互作，以刺激T淋巴细胞的生长并诱导活化B细胞分泌IgG。IL-3的其他同义词包括泛特异性造血素、多克隆刺激因子、肥大细胞生长因子、爆发促进活性、组胺生成细胞刺激因子、P细胞刺激因子和WEHI-3因子。

Preparation Note
HumanKine Interleukin-3 (IL-3), expressed in human HEK 293 cells, is a glycosylated monomer with an apparent molecular mass of 17-45 kDa due to glycosylation, which is absent when this cytokine is expressed in E. coli. Production in human HEK 293 cells offers authentic glycosylation which contributes to stability in cell growth media and other applications.
Analysis Note
The activity was determined by the dosedependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF-1 cells (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line).
