Biochem/physiol Actions

通过结合主要组织相容性复合体（major histocompatibility complex，MHC）II类分子，CD4 （分化簇4）与CD4+ T细胞、抗原呈递细胞（antigen-presenting cell）或靶细胞相互作用。 与MHC-II分子的相互作用提高细胞因子表达和人单核细胞向功能性成熟巨噬细胞的分化。此外，它影响人类免疫缺陷病毒（HIV）结合和之后的感染。因此，它作为首要受体（primary receptor）在HIV中起重要作用。

General description

CD4 是一种糖蛋白，主要在成熟胸腺来源 (T) 淋巴细胞的细胞膜上表达，也在一定程度上在单核/巨噬细胞谱系中表达。 它具有与 Ig（免疫球蛋白） 超家族成员相似的跨膜结构域、胞浆区和四个串联结构域的胞外区。
