General description

Biochem/physiol Actions

研究表明Protein Hook homolog-1(HOOK1)与微管结合。HOOK1对细胞转运非常重要。它涉及独立于网格蛋白的货物蛋白(cargo protein 蛋白)的分选,从而以依赖于微管的方式进行再循环。HOOK1与FTS(Fused Toes)和FHIP(FTS和 Hook Interacting Protein)的复合物可与HOPS(homotypic vesicular protein sorting )复合物的成分相互作用。这种相互作用对于促进囊泡转运非常重要。在 azh (异常精子头形态) 突变小鼠中,HOOK1 功能丧失导致精子头形态异常,并破坏鞭毛和精子头的连接。
