NDUFV3 (NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) flavoprotein 3, 10kDa) acts as a regulatory component in the electron transport. It is also associated with the interferon-β and retinoic acid-induced cancer cell death. It has also been reported that NDUFV3 may be involved in protein synthesis.
