SCYL2 (SCY1-like protein 2) is an accessory protein of the clathrin-mediated endocytosis. SCYL2 interacts with adaptor protein complex 2a and β-appendages. It participates in the trafficking between trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes, and t-SNARE sorting from TGN to late endosomes.
