General description

C9orf171 (chromosome 9 open reading frame 171) is one of the proteins expressed in ciliated cells in bronchial epithelium.

Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

C9orf171 (chromosome 9 open reading frame 171) is up-regulated in blood mononuclear cells of humans suffering from early-onset schizophrenia.
