human ... GGA3(23163)
一般描述
The gene GGA3 (golgi-associated, γ adaptin ear containing, ARF binding proteins) is mapped to human chromosome 17q25.1. The protein contains a GAT (GGA and Tom1) domain and the VHS (Vps27, Hrs, STAM) domain.
免疫原
ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA3 recombinant protein epitope signature tag (PrEST)
应用
All Prestige Antibodies Powered by Atlas Antibodies are developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project and as a result, are supported by the most extensive characterization in the industry.
The Human Protein Atlas project can be subdivided into three efforts: Human Tissue Atlas, Cancer Atlas, and Human Cell Atlas. The antibodies that have been generated in support of the Tissue and Cancer Atlas projects have been tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues and through the recent efforts of the Human Cell Atlas project, many have been characterized by immunofluorescence to map the human proteome not only at the tissue level but now at the subcellular level. These images and the collection of this vast data set can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. We also provide Prestige Antibodies® protocols and other useful information.

生化/生理作用
GGAs (golgi-associated, γ adaptin ear containing, ARF binding proteins) are adaptor-related proteins, which interact with ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs). They are present in the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and form connection between clathrin and membrane-bound ARF-GTP (guanosine triphosphate). GGAs play a crucial role in trafficking between the TGN and endosomes. GGA3 also binds to the subunits of the ubiquitin-dependent sorting machinery. It controls trafficking and degradation of BACE1 (β-site AβPP-cleaving enzyme). BACE1 is important for the generation of amyloid-β in Alzheimer′s disease.
特点和优势
Prestige Antibodies® are highly characterized and extensively validated antibodies with the added benefit of all available characterization data for each target being accessible via the Human Protein Atlas portal linked just below the product name at the top of this page. The uniqueness and low cross-reactivity of the Prestige Antibodies® to other proteins are due to a thorough selection of antigen regions, affinity purification, and stringent selection. Prestige antigen controls are available for every corresponding Prestige Antibody and can be found in the linkage section.
Every Prestige Antibody is tested in the following ways:
Every Prestige Antibody is tested in the following ways:
- IHC tissue array of 44 normal human tissues and 20 of the most common cancer type tissues.
- Protein array of 364 human recombinant protein fragments.

Zirconium is widely used as material for prosthetic devices because its good mechanical and chemical properties. When exposed to oxygen, zirconium becomes zirconium oxide (ZrO(2)), which is biocompatible. ZrO(2) can be also prepared as a colloidal suspension and then used

Golgi-localized γ-ear-containing ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein (GGA3) is a central regulator of trafficking and degradation of BACE1 (β-site AβPP-cleaving enzyme), the rate-limiting enzyme in the production of amyloid-β (Aβ) in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Here, we assessed the potential role of GGA3

Phosphatidylinositol 4 phosphate (PI4P) is highly enriched in the trans-Golgi network (TGN). Here we establish that PI4P is a key regulator of the recruitment of the GGA clathrin adaptor proteins to the TGN and that PI4P has a novel role

The Golgi-localized, gamma-ear-containing, Arf-binding (GGA) proteins constitute a family of clathrin adaptors that are mainly associated with the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and mediate the sorting of mannose 6-phosphate receptors. This sorting is dependent on the interaction of the VHS domain

The GGAs constitute a family of modular adaptor-related proteins that bind ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) and localize to the trans-Golgi network (TGN) via their GAT domains. Here, we show that binding of the GAT domain stabilizes membrane-bound ARF1.GTP due to interference
