General description

迁移和侵袭抑制蛋白(MIIP)可结合胰岛素样生长因子(IGF),调节癌症进展。它在脑肿瘤、侵袭性多形性胶质母细胞瘤中表达不足。MIIP是一种抑癌基因,可抑制子宫内膜癌中大鼠肉瘤(Ras)相关的C3肉毒杆菌毒素底物1-鸟苷三磷酸(Rac1-GTP)介导的细胞迁移。MIIP的单核苷酸多态性与乳腺癌风险增加相关。MIIP通过降低表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)的表达抑制非小细胞肺癌的进展。MIIP单倍剂量不足与结直肠肿瘤的进展有关。
