Fucosyltransferase 10 (alpha (1,3) fucosyltransferase) (FUT10) has type II transmembrane signal domain and the N-terminal is involved in substrate recognition. The FUT10 gene is mapped to human chromosome 8p11.23.

Fucosyltransferase 10 (alpha (1,3) fucosyltransferase) (FUT10) mediates the transfer of fucose sugar to N-acetylglucosamine moiety in type I (Galactose(beta 1-3) N-acetylglucosamine) or type II (Galactose (beta 1-4) N-acetylglucosamine) acceptor.
