General description
IL-2（白介素2）编码促炎性细胞因子。 IL-2主要在辅助性T细胞中表达。
Application

Biochem/physiol Actions
白细胞介素2（IL-2）是由T淋巴细胞的某些亚群产生的免疫调节因子。该淋巴因子可促进活化T细胞和相关细胞类型的长期生长。IL-2在自然杀伤细胞的激活和增殖中发挥作用、诱导γ-干扰素和B细胞生长因子的分泌，并调节IL-2受体的表达。已知IL-2表达会随着年龄的增长而降低，并导致流感病毒感染、肿瘤和致死性自身免疫。IL-2参与T细胞的增殖和分化，并控制T细胞的稳态。作为免疫应答的一部分，IL-2能够刺激辅助性T细胞1和2以及骨骼肌的内皮白细胞。IL-2调节受到c-rel蛋白的控制。IL-2是一种神经营养分子，在皮层、海马、中隔、小脑和视网膜神经元中具有特殊功能。
