General description
白细胞介素-2 （IL-2）是一种α螺旋状细胞因子，属于一型T辅助细胞。它的分子量为15kDa。IL-2 基因位于人染色体 4q27。IL-2 最初被称为T细胞生长因子。
Application
人白细胞介素-2 已被用于：
- 模拟自然杀伤细胞
- 研究其刺激淋巴细胞生长和防止细胞凋亡的能力
- 作为酶联免疫吸附测定 (ELISA) 中的抗原，用于分析一型糖尿病中人体自身抗体反应活性。
Biochem/physiol Actions
白细胞介素-2 （IL-2）对于自然杀伤（NK）细胞淋巴细胞和巨噬细胞的增生至关重要。它在免疫系统功能（如NK细胞刺激的免疫反应）中发挥关键作用。IL-2也介导调节性T细胞的基本功能。它与自体免疫疾病有关。IL-2与细胞凋亡有关，因此具有抗肿瘤反应。它介导CD41+ T-细胞分化成辅助细胞1 和 2 效应细胞亚类，从而防止T辅助细胞17 分化。
白细胞介素-2（IL-2）是由某些T淋巴细胞亚群产生的免疫调节因子。该淋巴因子能够促进活化T细胞和相关细胞类型的长期生长。IL-2在NK细胞的激活和增殖、诱导γ-干扰素和B细胞生长因子分泌中发挥作用，并且能够调节IL-2受体的表达。
