Biochem/physiol Actions
WGA 不具有血型特异性，但具有与 N-乙酰基-β-D-葡糖胺残基和 N-乙酰基-β-D-葡糖胺低聚物的亲和性。WGA 不含蛋白结合糖。
具有四个结合位点的小麦凝集素对N-乙酰基-d-葡糖胺和N-乙酰基-d-神经氨酸（唾液酸）残基具有特异性。凝集素也起杀真菌剂的作用。它们还具有抗营养作用。
General description
来自 小麦 的凝集素是36kDa的二聚体糖蛋白。它属于几丁质结合蛋白家族。凝集素的糖基化前体在内质网中合成。
