CopyCutter EPI400 Chemically Competent E. coli

CopyCutter EPI400TM E.coli cells were developed to stabilize toxic inserts and cloning toxic unstable DNA.

CopyCutter EPI400TM E.coli cells significantly lower the copy number of a wide variety of popular high copy number vectors to maintain “toxic” genes or unstable DNA sequences in the vectors.

The CopyCutter EPI400TM E.coli Induction Solution is provided to induce to higher copy number for improved plasmid yield.

Cloning of unstable DNA sequences; Cloning of expressing toxic proteins

• Optimized for cloning toxic or unstable DNA
• Stabilize toxic inserts in common cloning and expression vectors (pUC and pET-type vectors)
• Maintain clones at a low-copy number, then induce to higher copy number for improved plasmid yield
• Avoid T1 and T5 phage contamination with tonA mutation
• Choose chemically competent cells (LGCC400CH10) for general cloning or electrocompetent cells (LGCC400EL10) for demanding applications such as library generation
