Biochem/physiol Actions
藤黄微球菌(Micrococcus luetus)是一种革兰氏阳性菌，可通过释放水不溶性黄色素加以鉴定。这种细菌生长需要琥珀酸，并易被产酶溶杆菌(Lysobacter enzymogenes)通过β-水解金属内肽酶(β-lytic metalloendopeptidase)裂解。它的膜中含有一种酶，可以异戊二烯焦磷酸为供体进行异戊二烯化反应。藤黄微球菌可用于cis-异戊烯基转移酶的基因克隆。
