General description

米非司酮是一种合成类固醇，可用于治疗库欣综合征和子宫平滑肌瘤。低剂量使用时，它通过结合细胞内孕酮受体选择性地拮抗孕酮。高剂量使用时，米非司酮可阻断糖皮质激素受体上的皮质醇，影响下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺轴，导致循环皮质醇增加，从而控制某些患者的高血糖。此外，米非司酮对糖皮质激素II受体的亲和力高于对糖皮质激素I受体的。在终止妊娠的情况下，米非司酮会破坏孕酮。
