General description

柠檬酸合酶(CS;EC 2.3.3.1)是一种线粒体酶,存在于所有能够进行氧化代谢的细胞中。它在Krebs 三羧酸循环中,催化草酰乙酸合成柠檬酸盐。1,2柠檬酸合酶参与能量产生、脂肪生成和胆固醇生成,其活性遵循昼夜节律模式。

Biochem/physiol Actions

柠檬酸合酶活性检测试剂盒提供了一种简单直接的方法,用于测量各种组织、细胞培养物(粘附或悬浮)和纯化线粒体中柠檬酸合酶的活性。使用偶联酶反应测定柠檬酸合酶活性,其产生与存在的酶活性成比例的比色(412 nm)产物。一个单位的柠檬酸合酶是在25 °C和pH 7.2 下,每分钟产生 1.0 mmole CoA的酶的量。
