Melanin Assay Kit

The Melanin Assay Kit provides a simple and effective method to measure melanin content in cells and other biological samples.

The Melanin Assay Kit uses a substrate that generates a fluorescent product upon reaction with melanins. The fluorescence intensity, measured at λEx/λEm = 470/550 nm with cutoffat 515 nm, is proportional to the amount of melanin in a sample. The limit of detection is 10 μg/mL.
