Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

新霉素是一种氨基糖苷类抗生素,由链霉菌产生,含有至少85%的新霉素B。它可用作新选择标记基因转化的原核细胞的筛选剂。三硫酸新霉素可用于研究抗生素的细胞毒性副作用、某些成纤维细胞血小板衍生生长因子的应答以及提取核磷脂酰肌醇4,5-二磷酸互作蛋白。该产品的推荐细胞培养使用浓度为5 mL/L。
作用机制:该产品通过和30S以及50S亚基结合,引起错编,抑制蛋白质合成过程的起始和延长。 新霉素也可阻断电压敏感性Ca2+ 通道,而不会影响神经元中的Na+/Ca2+逆向转运蛋白。
抗菌谱:新霉素能够作用于革兰氏阳性和阴性细菌。

Disclaimer
