General description
核苷磷酸化酶对核苷的生物合成很重要。
核苷磷酸化酶是三聚体，分子量为100 kDa左右。每个单体由疏水腔中混合β的薄片芯、侧面八个α-螺旋和一个嘌呤结合区组成。
等电点：4.1 +/- 0.1
米氏常数：6.4 x 10-5M（肌苷），3.2x10-4M (Pi)
抑制剂：对氯汞苯甲酸，SDS，Hg++，Ag+最佳pH：7.5-8.0
最适温度： 65oC
pH稳定性： pH 6.0 - 9.0 (30oC，16小时)
热稳定性：低于60oC（pH 7.7， 30分钟）

Application
来自微生物的核苷磷酸化酶已被用于：
- 合成腺苷用戊磷酸变位酶检测
- 7-甲基硫鸟苷向7-甲基硫代鸟嘌呤的转变
- 冻干棉花植物样品中细胞分裂素的合成
核苷磷酸化酶被用于偶联酶系统以测量蛋白质去磷酸化。
Biochem/physiol Actions
催化下列反应：嘌呤核苷+磷酸盐=嘌呤+α-D-核糖1-磷酸
核苷磷酸化酶催化核苷衍生物的合成。
该酶可以和黄嘌呤氧化酶（XTO-212）和尿酸酶（UAO-201，UAO-211）一起使用，用于酶法测定无机磷、5′-核苷酸酶和腺苷脱氨酶。研究表明嘌呤核苷磷酸化酶能够进行嘌呤脱氧-和核糖核苷的磷酰基水解和合成。 研究发现膜相关核苷磷酸化酶可能以膜对侧上的碱基和核糖-1-P 结合位点进行跨膜定向。
