General description

Application

吐温20已可用于原位杂交的染色缓冲液中。在荧光共振共振能量转移(FRET)实验样品制备过程中，它也被用来防止蛋白质对盖玻片的非特异性吸附。

吐温20是一种广泛应用于生化领域的非离子去污剂。它被用作稳定的水包油乳液的乳化剂。吐温20已可用于膜的预提取，以去除周围蛋白(用于提取膜结合蛋白的比例为2%)。
吐温20在基于膜的免疫分析中已被用作一种封闭剂，其常用浓度为0.05%。吐温20可用于裂解哺乳动物细胞，使用浓度为0.005至0.5%。
