一般描述
蜡状芽孢杆菌的磷脂酰肌醇特异性磷脂酶 C (PI-PLC) 是一种 298 残基蛋白。属于一类普遍存在的酶。PI-PLC 具有单一的球状结构域，折叠成八（βα）桶板，其中只有 6 个 βα 单元在管中发现，链 IV 和 V 与 V 和 VI 之间缺少螺旋。
应用
蜡状芽孢杆菌的磷脂酰肌醇特异性磷脂酶 C 已被用于从细胞膜上切割绿色荧光蛋白-糖基磷脂酰肌醇 (GFP-GPI) 的 GPI 锚定蛋白。 它也被用于侵袭实验，以测试 PLAP 是否参与了克氏锥虫对人类 2 类型上皮细胞 (HEp-2) 的侵袭。
